CLUBHOUSE RENTAL PROCESS USING ONLINE CALENDAR

Manorwood owners or tenants designated by the owner may rent the Clubhouse

• • The Clubhouse is available to any MOA homeowner who belongs to a group and needs a meeting space. 
     
  • As soon as possible, but no later than two weeks in advance, renter places a temporary hold on a date on the Clubhouse Reservations Calendar at the bottom of this page.

• • Lorne Martin at JC Higgins will receive an email, check the renter’s account status, Clubhouse availability, and permanently log the entry on the calendar.

• • JC Higgins will send confirmation to the renter within two working days along with a request for a $75 damage deposit in the form of a check or money order made out to Manorwood HOA.

• • Renter mails check or money order, completed application, and signed rental agreement to:
    Lorne Martin, c/o JC Higgins
    PO Box 731029, Puyallup WA 98373

    Alternatively, items can be dropped off at JC Higgins’ office at 802 39th Ave. SW, Puyallup, WA 98373.

• • Check/money order is deposited in MOA account.

• • Two weeks in advance, Lorne notifies Clubhouse coordinators of a pending rental (name, lot #, date, time, & contact information).

• • A Clubhouse coordinator (currently Linda Dement or Linda Carter) arranges with the renter to borrow a set of keys (parking lot gate and Clubhouse storage room) and reminds them to take garbage home after cleaning and vacuuming the Clubhouse.

• • Soon after the Clubhouse event, but no later than the next day, a Clubhouse coordinator will inspect the Clubhouse for cleanliness, check for damage, contact the renter, and retrieve the keys. Garbage should have been carried away.

• • If all is clean and there’s no damage, a coordinator notifies Lorne, who mails a new $75 check back to the renter.

• • If damage exists, cleaning is required or keys are lost, a coordinator notifies JC Higgins and contacts a Board member to arrange for repair work, cleaning or key replacement.
  • Members looking to rent the Clubhouse understand that their Manorwood account must be in good standing (i.e., no delinquent payments or penalties owing) for them to have the right to do so.
